Initially we will review the project to see if the main frame design has already been carried out, we will then design connections in house. If the main frame needs to be designed we will look to employ the services of a reputable and experiences Chartered Engineer.

All our fabrication drawings are then prepared from 3D models, using Tekla Structures industry leading modeling software.

The automatic manufacturing data is used for cost and production management, and accurate CAD CAM (manufacturing) files are utilized within our shop floor machines, resulting in an accurate finished product that will be fabricated exactly to the 3D model specifications and dimensions.



Shot blasting carried out by an automated machine and is transported into our fabr shop for primer to be applied.

Our steelwork is shot blasted and then fabricated utilizing automatic fittings machines along with an automated KALTENBACH drill / saw line to ensure the accuracy of drilled holes and length tolerances to industry code standards.

Welding is carried by our qualified coded fabricators and welders using automated welding (MIG) on articulated booms.

Upon completion and before painting non destructive testing (NDT) is carried out by an independent PCN/CSWIP qualified inspector in accordance with NSSS 5th Edition CE marking version and project specification if applicable.

Our fully trained workforce work hand-in-hand with shop floor management and contract staff to provide a quality product delivered to the clients programme requirements.



After agreement of Method Statements and risk assessments etc our project is delivered to site in an erectable sequence - this is where our ​clients first see the steelwork package that they have procured, and as such we look on this as an extremely important part of our service. Our haulage company have over 75 years’ experience in transporting steel and have depots and storage facilities from St Neots to Stockton-on-Tees, they are FORS registered and Crossrail compliant.

The experienced and properly trained site teams ( 100% CSCS ) work hand in hand with our contracts managers to ensure that steelwork is erected as agreed and on time, and in a safe manner using certified mobile craneage and access platforms.
